Person, Place, or Thing Limited Edition Vinyl Release!

We’re getting together with RVA’s own Worthless Junk Records to put out a special limited run edition of Person, Place, or Thing. It will be a slightly different version of the album, hence the new updated album art (from the talented Lauren Lyon, who also did the photography for the album art on all our previous releases, and graphic design by Josh Osborne via the Subterranea Collective). We will be releasing this at The Camel in Richmond, VA on February 23rd (here’s the event page). The track listing for the album will be as follows:

Live at Ipanema is a free performance series at Ipanema Cafe. The shows are recorded & photographed, and then shared online. The band gets a high-quality recording and professional photography, and everyone else gets a great evening of music.

As always with our Richmond shows, we try to introduce a few new songs to our set to keep things fresh and this show will be no different. In fact, the entire set will have a new feel to it as we had to alter our sound for the intimate setting. It will also be the first time we’ve recorded together as a band; all of the studio recordings up to this point have just been me with the occasional guest appearance, so this will be a very interesting listen. The recording will be available online for free shortly afterwards by the talented Allen Bergendahl of Viking Recording, who has recorded SO MANY AWESOME BANDS (click that link and check out the list of artists he’s worked with, it’s ridiculous). Is there a better way to spend a Sunday night!?

Finally!! After years in the making, Person, Place, or Thing is ready for release. And what a great lineup to help make it happen! The Rice Cakes from Providence, RI are coming through on their tour, along with Houdan the Mystic and Navi to make this an awesome night of music.

The album will go live on bandcamp on the 29th, and you’ll be able to stream it for free or download for $7. However, if you make it out to the release show on the 27th, you can get it early for $5 via download cards that I’ll be selling at the merch table.
